The Mayor of Chorley visited the town's Little Theatre to watch the first play in the new season, Stones in his Pockets.
The play is an award-winning comedy about a Hollywood film being made in a rural Irish village.
The Mayor, councillor Iris Smith, chatted with the two actors, who actually play 15 roles within the play between them.
The Mayor, said: "We were delighted to be invited to the first play in the new season and thoroughly enjoyed the production.
"The theatre is run entirely by volunteers whom we would like to thank for such a lovely evening."
The Mayor and Consort also had a tour of the theatre following it’s on-going building improvements.
