Malcolm's Musicland will be closing at 4pm on Saturday 11th September, and re-opening on Tuesday 14th at 9am.

You'll still be able to buy tickets online all hours and on-the-door from 7pm each night. We apologise for any inconvenience.

We had a member's night last week, where Act One of Noises Off was previewed. It went down brilliantly, so take a look at this:

Noises off is a play about a drama company on tour with a terrible farce, and battling through all the petty squabbles and secret relationships that develop over the tour. It's very, very funny - book now!

If you've got the town's free paper this week, you may have read a piece about the big-name comedians coming to Chorley Little Theatre this Autumn. We thought it best to put the latest news here so you're completely up-to-date:

Whose Line Is It Anyway Impro All-Stars

Scheduled for Thursday 23rd September, this show has sadly had to be cancelled. We may try and re-arrange one day but all ticket-holders should go to Malcolm's Musicland for a refund. Sorry about that.

Chris Addison - Thursday 7th October

There are very limited tickets left for this - we've run out of our own allocation but you can still buy some at See Tickets and Ticketmaster. But be quick!

Lee Nelson - Saturday 6th November

Totally sold out, we've got no spare tickets left at all.

Dan Antopolski - Thursday 18th November

Plenty of tickets left for this great stand-up, which can be purchased from Malcolm's, We Got Tickets, See Tickets or Ticketmaster!

(We like to give you options for buying - there'll be a guide to this on here soon)

In addition to these, don't miss the spooky comedy of How To Survive A Zombie Apocalypse on Thursday 28th October. Laughs and scares in time for Halloween!

We hope to announce more big names for 2011 soon, but tickets are already on sale for return visits from Richard Herring and Bernard Wrigley. Both men sold out their last show here so the lesson is: buy early and don't miss out!

Noises Off - Friday 10th - Saturday 18th November

Tickets start at just £5. Book now!

It's exactly 100 years since Chorley Little Theatre opened. Here's the description in the Chorley Standard/Weekly News from 1910.
