Chorley Empire Community Cinema (formerly Chorley Film Society) have announced the remaining film of the current season - and added an extra one!
The already-announced date of Sunday 17th April will see a showing of rural comedy Tamara Drewe, starring Gemma Arterton and Dominic Cooper.
On Sunday 8th May a bonus film is added to the season - The King's Speech. This drama won Best Actor, Best Director, Best Film, and Best Screenplay at the recent Oscar ceremony and has been a big hit around the world.
As a bonus, Committee member Paul Tate will be doing his own speech as he recreates Rob Wilton's famous "The Day War Broke Out" monologue to introduce the film!
Tickets for both films are £4. CECC Season Ticket holders get in free, and a limited number will be available in advance from Malcolm's Musicland (from Tuesday 5th April).
We've added loads of pages to the "More Information" section in the links above. There's now details of how to book, where to find us, and who we are.
We'll be adding more features in time, so let us know if there's anything you'd especially like to see.
Chorley Empire Community Cinema are teaming up with the Chorley Guardian and Age Concern to show Prince William's wedding on the theatre's big screen, live on 29th April.
There are a strictly limited number of tickets available for the day, either from Age Concern on St Thomas's Road or from Malcolm's Musicland. All tickets are free (and unallocated seats) but we will be taking donations on the day to cover costs and providing refreshments.
The theatre will open 9.30am and tickets are available right now. As tickets are limited, please only get one if you know you can attend so that others don't miss out
It's Red Nose Day today, and as big comedy fans here we want to help out. So, over Friday, Saturday and Sunday this weekend we'll give £1 to Comic Relief for every ticket sold for the following shows:
So the charity will benefit, and you'll have a great night out at some proper funny shows! It's also a bit healthier than eating lots of crisps!
Also, for fans of Peter Kay, Malcolm's Musicland will have his top-secret new DVD single (to be revealed in tonight's Telethon) for sale at the start of next week.
