Chorley Amateur Dramatic & Operatic Society (CADOS) finish their current season at Chorley Little Theatre with the feelgood comedy musical “Our House” from 12th to 17th June.

Written by Tim Firth, writer of Calendar Girls and Neville’s Island, the show features all the biggest hits of the band Madness, including Baggy Trousers, It Must Be Love, House of Fun and more.

Opening on the 16th birthday of Joe Casey, we see the two paths his life could take on that fateful night: one path means a criminal record and social exclusion, while the other will lose him the girl that he loves. One leads to Las Vegas, the other stays in Camden Town.

An epic, fast-moving romantic comedy, with Bob Halliday as Joe, Steve Unsworth as his no-good dad, and Amy Hardcastle as Sarah, the girl he must choose to stay with or leave behind.

It’s a story of family, love, and friendship that won the 2003 Olivier Award for “Best New Musical”

CADOS are pulling out all the stops to make this a fantastic night out: co-directors Mark Jones and Paul Carr have both won awards for their last few shows, and there will be a live band accompanying the 23-strong cast.

Tickets can be booked at, although the Friday and Saturday performances have already sold out.
