The next season of CADOS productions is now on sale!

Five of the six main productions at Chorley Little Theatre between September 2014 and June 2015 are now on sale, with plans for the sixth show (and Studio productions) coming in a month or so.

The selection of plays include new shows, old favourites, and a brand-new pantomime and continue the Society's commitment to exciting, inventive, fun theatre.

CADOS Chairman Ian Robinson says, "We wanted to get the Pantomime on sale as soon as possible and most of the rest of the season is in place so why hang around? Mark Jones and his Artistic Committee have done a great job of planning ahead, and it looks like we'll have some great productions over the next couple of years"

The season opens in September with Alan Bennett's Talking Heads, in which four women tell their stories in a series of monologues. Based on the 1980s BBC TV series, this is the first time CADOS have performed this popular work.

In October, we present The Ladykillers direct from London's West End. Based on the Ealing Comedy of the same name, this has been adapted for the stage by Father Ted writer Graham Linehan and we're one of the country's first amateur societies to stage it.

Our Pantomime is based on the classic fairytale The Elves And The Shoemaker and is from the writer/director of 2012's sell-out Santa The Panto. We've added an extra Sunday matinee this year to cope with demand - but ticket prices are frozen for the fifth year in a row.

Steel Magnolias is the February play. Made famous as a film starring Sally Field and Julia Roberts, this popular play is set in a Louisiana beauty parlour.

The April play will welcome back long-time Calendar Girls director Barbara Wilcox, but the title is still under wraps.

Finally, the season ends with a sequel to multi-award winning Hound of the Baskervilles and sees Dave Reid return as Sherlock Holmes for one final case.

Chorley Little Theatre is entirely run by volunteers with any profits going back towards the upkeep of the building. The plan is to do some work in the auditorium over Summer, which will mean (at least) a slightly different seating layout and new lick of paint. If anybody would like to sponsor productions, please get in touch.

Ticket prices remain the same as the current season, and are available from Malcolm's Musicland, Chapel Street, Chorley PR7 1BW. Call 01257 264362.

Tickets will be online soon.

Season Tickets allowing entry to all shows (and discounts on some things we may be adding) can also be purchased from Malcolm's Musicland by 8th February. If you have any questions, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
