Chorley Little Theatre and Ebb And Flo Bookshop are proud to present an evening of conversation with Johnny Vegas.

Taking place on Tuesday 5th November at 7.30pm, it promises to be a unique chance to spend intimate time with a comedy superstar.

The star of Benidorm, Ideal, QI and the PG Tips ads will be on stage in conversation with Steve Royle about his life and career, as covered in his brand-new autobiography, which is included as part of the ticket price.

Find out how eleven-year-old Catholic trainee Michael Pennington became Johnny Vegas, a TV regular and perhaps the most fearlessly confessional stand-up comedian this country has ever produced. A darkly hilarious tale of family, faith and the creative application of alcohol dependency this is an eye-poppingly frank memoir.

In this very special evening, BBC Radio Lancashire presenter (and fellow comedian) Steve Royle chats to Johnny about his upbringing in St Helens and how he has become one of Britain’s best-loved comic actors.

The conversation will last about an hour, with a chance for audience members to ask their own questions, before Johnny will take time to meet everyone and sign their book.

The ticket price includes a hardback copy of the book, entry into the event, and the opportunity to meet Johnny himself.

Tickets £20. Purchase from Ebb and Flo Books, Gillibrand Street, Chorley PR7 2EJ, and receive the book there and then or book via Malcolm’s Musicland 01257 264362 or via the links on www.chorleytheatre.com and pick up your copy of the book on the night.

This is the first event of it’s type organized by Ebb and Flo Bookshop, which has only been open for a few months. Shop owner Diane Gunning hopes to arrange more events like this if it’s a success.
