In this Ealing comedy George Formby stars as a worker at an underwear factory who comes up with a new form of thread that revolutionises the industry. Featuring the songs The Emperor of Lancashire and I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside, this was released at the height of Formby’s popularity.
As an extra treat, Paul Kenny will be performing some of Formby's most popular songs on his ukulele before the film.
