The Show:
The CADOS Pantomime is the biggest show in Chorley and we pride ourselves on delivering a very high standard of production every year. The Panto has been a sell-out for 4 years in a row.

Although this is their directing debut Andy Burke and Steven Catterall have appeared in the last 4 and 3 pantos respectively and have a long history with CADOS. Both have been NODA Award nominess/winners several times. Paul Carr wrote/directed Santa The Panto and Elves and the Shoemaker, while Producer Ian Robinson directed Robin Hood and Snow White. The rest of the crew have all worked on CADOS pantos in recent years.

The Story:
The traditional panto story of Aladdin, set in China and full of familiar elements. Aladdin is a street urchin who falls in love with the Princess, but her father the Emperor will never let them marry. Aladdin lives with his mother Widow Twankey and his brother Wishee Washee at their washing business. When the evil Abanazar sends Aladdin after a magic lamp, everything changes.

Full of groan-inducing jokes, wordplay, slapstick, songs and dances this is very much the traditional panto but with plenty of pace and energy, using special effects, video sequences and puppets.
